The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and maintain documentation of employee Leave of Absence as well as short- and long-term disability claims

-Perform Kronos data entry; maintain electronic and physical personnel files
-Respond to employee/vendor inquiries related to Worker's Compensation
-Conduct Exit Interviews
-Edit personnel files and employee documentation
-Serve as backup Payroll and Benefits Administrator
-Other duties as assigned
Essential Duties and Responsibilities New Employee Orientation And Onboarding to include:
-Entering new employees into Kronos
-Promptly complete I-9
-Initiate background checks
-Coordinate offer process by sending offer letter and other onboarding documents
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Payroll and benefits software systems
-Kronos Workforce Ready and Newton ATS
-Strong technical skills and customer service orientation
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills
-Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related field preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-High School diploma or GED is required
-3+ years' experience in HR with benefits experience preferred
-Strong technical skills and customer service orientation
-Microsoft Word and Excel
-Experience with Google Suite a plus
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills
-Strong organizational skills
-Detail oriented
