The Human Resource Manager guides and manages the overall provisions of policy and programs including , but not limited to:
o Organizational departmental planning
o Performance management and improvement systems
o Organization development
o Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees
o Employee onboarding
o Needs assessment
o Policy development
o Documentation
o Employee relations
- Reports directly to Plant Manager with matters concerning ISO / QS Standards.
- Knowledge and experienced in accepted bookkeeping practices
- Document wage increases, bonus information and all information supplied by the President and others
- Issuance of W-2’s to all employees with the IRS (Internal Revenue Service)
- Reviews time cards on a daily basis to ensure employees are recording time worked accurately
- Reporting and general filing of all tax forms on a bi-weekly and quarterly basis

o Unemployment
o Local
o Earned Income Tax (EIT)
- Verify employee vacations and sick times are accurately accounted for on employee time card- Verify and document all piecework transactions and enter times and rates onto employee’s time card
- Supply wage information to banking institution and government agencies as required
- Enter and verify wage amounts for employees who have elected for electronic banking
- Assist employees with questions about wages, deductions or other payroll related questions
Other duties: - Track and verify employee loans are entered and repaid in a timely manner
- Verify and transmit payroll information to hiring agencies for temporary employees
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: -
Prior technical experience or training in payroll functions
- OJT may be substituted for experience
o Company to employee communications
o Compensation and benefits
o Administration
o Employee services
Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies and employee benefits
- Analyze and modify compensation and benefit policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel related data such as: hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates
- Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization’s personnel policies and practices
- Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers
- Provide terminated employees with COBRA insurance information as well as unemployment
