JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Provide all employees prompt and efficient attention for all Human Resources inquiries. Thoroughly answers all employee inquiries and responds to all requests while employing an exceptional customer service demeanor.2. Coach, train and develop operational leaders on topics relating to benefits, leaves, payroll, wage, compensation, WC & safety.3. Hold assigned team members accountable for completing deliverables. Develop team members capabilities with a focus on improving quality and improving processes. 4. Assist in the development and be a champion for Employee Engagement/Recognition Activities throughout the location.5. Direct supervision of HR Associate ? Attendance/Paid Leave/Timekeeping/Leave. Responsibility for all Hourly Employee Leave Policies & Procedures6. Supervision of FMLA/CFRA Eligibility, Certification, Leave Tracking. FMLA/CFRA Leave Exhaustion ensure proper Tracking/Correspondence.7. Supervise Leave Accommodation Requests in line with established processes. Ensure Reasonable Accommodation logs are maintained to ensure historical records are maintained in fulfillment of regulatory obligations Ensure Employee interactive discussion process is properly documented and employee meetings are held. 8. Partner with Human Resources Senior Manager on all employee meetings related to employees? potential RTW.9. Ensure Tracking/Correspondence related to No Contact Terminations/Failure to Return to work upon recall.10. Process and manage New Hire drug testing.11. ACA Compliance/Health/Welfare Processing/Pension Processing12. Supplemental Billing Process13. JBT & DOE Hours Report14. Track and weekly reporting on HR metrics such as absenteeism.15. Support Pandemic Response program. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for COVID-19 questions and timely completion of contact tracing, employee tracking, supplemental pay, and quarantine and isolation policy inquiries. Track employees on leave due to COVID-19 related reasons and processing of COVID-19 payments in agreement with Policy and applicable California Executive Order.16. Serves as primary point of contact for Health and Safety Manager as it relates to inquiries regarding work history and pay, to effectively manage Total Temporary Disability Payments obligations under workers? compensation requirements and Provide Wage Information for WC and respond to unemployment compensation requests17. Update Vacation Database with New Regulars

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field4+ years demonstrated HR/employee relations experiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, production or big box/wholesale retail environment
