Responsibilities of the Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator:- Assist with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. - Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.- Assist with new hire orientations and pre and post-employment requirements including pre-employment background checks, MVR, drug screens, terminations, exit interviews, etc.- Reconcile benefits invoices/statements each month. )- Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.- Answer phones and route calls, make photocopies; mail, scan, and email documents; filing as needed for completion of duties.- Assist with annual open enrollment for benefits, including setup of new insurance vendor feeds with ADP and monthly billing process.- Use ADP HR Expert Payroll and HRIS system to enter employee data and pull reports. - Report Auto/ Workers Compensation Claims immediately, then oversee the coordination of the claim from start to end. - Track OSHA data and annually file OSHA 300A report.- File annual EEOC report- Handle Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests - Process Unemployment Claims, Research & protest invalid claims.- Assist with non-exempt/hourly recruiting, prescreening of candidates, and reviewing resumes- Enter, maintain, and/or process information in the payroll system- Prepare payroll general ledger entry from ADP export and submit in AX- Prepare monthly payroll accrual and submit in AX- Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.- Export, prepare and audit bi-weekly PTO report for distribution to managers- Export, prepare and audit year-end reporting- Audit, prepare and manage distribution of 1095-C and W2 documents- Prepare and submit quarterly Multiple Worksite Reports (BLS)- Prepare and submit periodic US Census data - HRIS System and Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP System- Enter, maintain, and/or process information in the ERP & HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) system- Create and pull reports from the HRIS system regularly- Perform other related duties as assigned.
