Pay: $20/hr
Hours: This is a Part-time position at 20-25/hrs per week with the potential to increase to 40/hrs per week in 2023. The schedule is flexible and can be anytime between 7am-5:30pm. Would work with the employee on determining a set schedule with flexibility for required meetings, etc.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance of HRIS systems and employee files
Accurately maintain compensation records and scheduled increases
Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
Maintain employment-related data and prepare required reports
Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications
Implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs
Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork
Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, working conditions
Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals
Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using HRIS
Schedule or conduct new employee orientations
Coordinate employee recognition events (i.e., work anniversaries and retirements)
Post job openings
Maintain first aid kits and other safety requirement upkeep
Assist the Human Resources Manager with strategic and daily operations
Creatively manage the weekly PowerPoint communications and monthly newsletter
Distribute mail
Other duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Bachelors Degree required; Human Resources, Business, Communications, or Psychology preferred, OR relatable Human Resources experience considered
1 year or more of Human Resources experience required, OR relevant education experienced
