The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an automotive manufacturing company in Bellevue, Ohio seeking a Human Resources Supervisor with pay being offered up to $80K based on experience. Come join their team!

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Supervisor:
Responsible for development and leading the HR team
Identifies problems and provides solutions for change
Ensures compliance to policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal laws
Partners with managers to drive and promote positive employee relations
Acts as an ambassador to assist and promote a positive culture
Manages the timekeeping system and HRIS for the plant
Responsible for all benefits for employees to include annual open enrollment, new hire benefits, terminations and COBRA, unemployment, FMLA, ADA and Worker's Compensation
Responsible for recruitment and onboarding and off boarding employees
Partner with managers to develop, implement and maintain training programs
Review and mediate disciplinary investigations
Build community relations by involvement in local activities and eventsRequirements:3-5 years of experience with human resources in a manufacturing environment
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business Administration field preferred or equivalent work experience
Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong employee relations and communication required
Ability to work in a multi-task environment and prioritize workload
Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, able to deal with frequent change, delays and or unexpected events
Able to work in a team environment
Strong time management and organizational skills required
Experience with safety and environmental regulation knowledge preferred
Great communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to handle a large workload and work with dynamic personalities with professionalism
