- Component Assembly: Assemble HVAC and electrical components, including motors, fans, coils, switches, control panels, and wiring harnesses, according to engineering drawings, diagrams, and instructions.- Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks on assembled components to verify accuracy, proper alignment, and adherence to specifications. Identify and address any defects or discrepancies.- Electrical Wiring: Safely and accurately connect electrical wires, components, and circuits. Ensure proper insulation, routing, and termination techniques are followed.- Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct functional testing of assembled units to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise during testing, making necessary adjustments or repairs.- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and any modifications or repairs performed. Complete production and testing reports as required.- Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers, designers, and quality control personnel, to ensure seamless production processes and timely completion of orders.- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations while performing assembly tasks. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.- Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Keep assembly tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition. 4-7 years
- Be able to troubleshoot chiller units, pump skids, cooling tower electrical and mechanical problems.- Ability to mount electrical components such as contactors, relays, breakers, terminal blocks, PLCs, digital controllers, switches, and wire an entire unit from ground up- Working knowledge of air conditioning and electrical systems, machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks.- Ability to use various testing devices related to air conditioning, electrical and mechanical trades.- Ability to brazing copper piping or ability to learn.- Ability to work on projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required.- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a quality team member in a demanding service environment.- Must be able to work well with others and perform job duties given to them.- Familiarity with electrical wiring, circuitry, and schematic diagrams.- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation.- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in assembly processes.- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Safety-conscious with a commitment to following established protocols and guidelines.- Prior experience with quality control and testing procedures is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in HVAC, electrical assembly, or a related field.- Minimum of 1 years relevant work experience in a heavy industrial / commercial setting- Demonstrated experience in HVAC or electrical assembly, with a understanding of mechanical and electrical components.- Experience building and wiring control panels, Chillers, Pump Skids- Experience in commercial/Industrial Air Conditioning systems and understand how they work.- Must submit to a background check and drug screen
