Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for customers.
- Travel daily to residential and commercial locations as scheduled.
- Perform consultations to determine customer needs and discuss potential solutions.
- Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Inspect existing HVAC systems for performance and safety.
- Perform preventative maintenance to prolong system lifespan.
- Conduct performance tests using specialized tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues.
- Promote and sell ongoing maintenance contracts to current customers.
- Maintain records of customer appointments, payments, and invoices.
- Keep an accurate inventory of equipment and HVAC resources.
- Planning and quoting for new construction projects, including residential homes and commercial buildings.
Skills:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience and knowledge in HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration, as well as installation, service, and repairs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfort with working on ladders and at heights.
- Attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean job site.
- Compliance with company dress code, including long pants (jeans or cargo).
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
