The Maintenance Tech is responsible for helping to ensure the overall continuous operation both from production as well as a facilities perspective. You will work with management to prioritize needs as well as identify opportunities for improvement within the organization while training to enhance maintenance skills. This role must be knowledgeable in and follow all procedures needed to ensure the proper safe and efficient operations of the production environment.
This is a direct-hire position
Projected Annual Income: $59,280 - $74,100 based on experience (paid hourly)

Night Shift: Training is on days for 4-6 weeks (Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Once complete, you will transition to an 8:00 PM-8:00 AM shift (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, and 3 off)
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for helping to ensure the overall continuous operation of properties both from production as well as a facilities perspective. You'll have a chance to collaborate with management to prioritize needs and identify improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Safely perform skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and/or physical structures
- Closely follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times
- Conducts housekeeping to keep areas clean and organized
- Able to work within the Programmable Logic Controller at the basic level with supervision
- Able to work within the Computerized Maintenance Management System to record daily tasks including the shift reports, work orders, etc. in a timely and accurate fashion
- Utilizes blueprints to understand machinery, facilities maintenance requirements
- Able to recognize possible improvements to current processes
Working hours: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Skills:
- Specialized training and/or experience as related to plastics and/or manufacturing in areas of Essential Functions, preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have Allen Bradley PLC experience
- Ability to read, understand and utilize blueprints (schematics)
- Basic to Intermediate wiring skills
- Accurately performs general inspection of equipment and makes basic repairs within guidelines
- Strong organizational skills combined with good problem-solving skills
- Practice and promote teamwork within our organization
- High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Longevity in previous positions
