The Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures safety while maintaining and repairing the extrusion equipment. Through a PM process the maintenance techs strive to keep equipment maintained and running to its optimal performance. They also troubleshoot day-to-day problems and break downs to get lines back up and running. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge of Hydraulic and industrial electrical skills. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

**These positions are only for 12-hour, rotating shifts, so the perfect candidate must be comfortable working this.

1ST ROTATING SHIFT | 7:00AM - 7:00PM | 2-2-3 SCHEDULE

2ND ROTATING SHIFT | 7:00PM - 7:00AM | 4-4 SCHEDULE

**BOTH SHIFTS MAY REQUIRE TRAINING ON A SPECIAL TIME FRAME

Responsibilities:
Ensure operation of machinery by completing preventative maintenance requirements
Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
Maintain parts inventory in maintenance area and keep critical spares on hand
Troubleshoot day-to-day problems and break downs to get lines back up and running
Read and interpret blueprints/schematics as they relate to electrical and mechanical requirements
Perform PM and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment
Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and breakdowns for extrusions line equipment, tools, and/or dies
Operate electrical and mechanical test equipment
Fabricate parts and equipment necessary to keep plant running efficiently
Order parts and supplies as needed or required for the maintenance department
Other duties or tasks as requested by leadership

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
Knowledge of general purpose tools
Knowledge of electrical motors, wiring, and circuits
Knowledge of schematics and diagrams of machinery
Ability to work individually as well as with a team
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Work in a fast paced environment
Ability to stand or walk for 12+ hours
Physical stamina and dexterity
Comfortable rolling up sleeves to get stuff done

Trade

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance facility
1+ years Hydraulic and industrial electrical experience
1+ years of experience working with electrical components
High School Diploma or GED preferred
