Able to Operate Electro-static paint equipment, oven, computer, vacuum cleaner, air lines, scales, respirator.Math skills, ability to perform process capability studies.Able to make decisions by exercising judgment in determining the quality of painted parts, analyzing quality problems and making the necessary adjustments to equipment. Determines whether even very subtle color or paint thickness variations occur on painted parts. Errors in judgment may not be detected until they have caused noticeable costs in time and/or money.Willing to do Forklift training; respirator training; blue-print reading.Able to be exposed to various chemicals in the painting process. Exposure to hazards of ovens. Must have good eye-hand coordination; mechanical dexterity. Able to discern subtle color variations in paint. Able to do considerable standing; occasionally lifting of 50 pound containers. Able to wear a respirator. Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, other devices as required. Wearing rings is not allowed.
