Job Description
Support Program Management in the development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Serve as the lead IMS Scheduler for Program Management responsible for IMS maintenance and analysis
Utilize Microsoft Project to develop achievable, resource loaded master schedule critical paths to achieve project, program, and program milestones. Perform program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances.
Developing and maintaining the Program Integrated Master Plan/Schedule associated with the entire project lifecycle, from project initiation through project closeout.
Integrating all program activities, including program management, engineering/development, procurement, operations, logistics, manufacturing, and related activities into the master plan.
Integrating the master schedule to the cost baseline and ensuring cost data is consistent with schedule information.
Establishing logic, predecessors and successors to develop the critical path for a program.
Developing, updating, and maintaining schedule performance metrics, related processes and management tools within the organization, including, but not limited to, critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
Process monthly project accounting and schedule performance data for management reporting. Prepare trend analysis to identify problem areas and submit recommendations for corrective actions.
Advising the Program Manager and key stakeholders on schedule performance, forecasts and risks.
Working closely with Financial Analysts to integrate cost data into baseline and forecast schedules.
Identifying, negotiating and resolving conflicts between the stakeholders in the Master Planning/Scheduling process.
Participating in program reviews and preparing schedule for schedule surveillance/audits.
Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Strong schedule analytical skills and experience using MS project.
Strong knowledge and experience in all aspects of program / project management.
Experience working with, and coordinating the activities, of multidisciplinary and disparate teams.
Knowledge of critical path methods.
Exercise good judgment about which tools to use and when to use them.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work with all levels of professionals.
Strong organizational skills, can-do attitude, and attention to detail. Ability to manage time and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong sense of ownership and track record of quality work.
Experience with Primavera P6 is a plus.
Experience with Jira is a plus.
Experience with Agile Program Management is a plus.
6+ years of experience using MS Project.
