Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.1st shift (Monday - Friday from 7am to 3pm) $14.50Responsibilities:Will include, but not limited to working in other areas within the inventory department: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills, invoices, orders, or other records.Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records shortages. Routes items to departments.Verifies counts and receives into inventory raw materials such as castings, bar stock and purchased parts. Withdraws raw materials as needed for production.Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records shortages and corresponds with Purchasing Department to rectify damages and shortages. Delivers and pick ups supplies and products for MICO.Maintains a clean and orderly work area.Conducts monthly counts and separates foundry scrap for return to foundry.Responsible for daily cycle counting in accordance with established procedures.Assembles wooden crates and bands together for shipping use.Recycles all wooden boxes, crates, and flat part racks for delivery to recycling yards.Files purchase orders and debit memo's in Onbase.Keeps daily records of all purchase orders from packing tickets on computer back door receiving and all raw materials.Withdraws daily all raw materials on computer for shop orders, bar stock and castings.Keeps control of short bar rack (bars cut in half for shop orders smaller than 12 feet).Lifts and washes bar stock for machines that were withdrawn for shop orders.Recognizes and complies with all safety rules. Hearing and Eye protection will be worn when required.Works overtime as requested by supervisor.Assists and trains other personnel within your area of responsibility.Looks for and recommends product and process improvements in support of corporate goals, objectives and activities.Working hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:TRAINING / SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:Employees must complete general safety training such as Right to Know (includes: Hazardous Communication, Emergency Response Plan, AWAIR, and Forklift & Pedestrian Safety) annually.
