Main emphasis of the role will be to ensure that the spare parts are accounted for and put into the storeroom for availability to the equipment on the production floor. To assist the Storeroom Clerk in the day to day operation of the Storeroom.Responsibilities:- Receive the spare parts list from each area leader that have been ordered.- Work with the appropriate person from the current maintenance group to work through the system- Take a picture of the part and document the part. Pictures are saved to a file location, saved to a book and saved to Maximo.- Work with the plant Supply Manager to create PeopleSoft numbers for each spare part.- Receive the physical spare parts from each area leader- Label each spare part with the appropriate PeopleSoft number.- Apply a barcode with the same number to the part. (same label)- Work with Maximo to get spare part PeopleSoft number assigned to the appropriate Maximo number.- Create the appropriate spare parts list for the plant receiver and present the parts and information to the plant in the format desired by the plant- Physically move the parts to the storeroom and get signed acknowledgement that they are in the storeroom- Determine how to put the parts into the Kardex unit, assign location in Kardex system and physically place the part into the Kardex unit.- Perform cycle count as directed by the Storeroom Clerk- Assist in the slow moving or obsolete items (SLOB) process- Keep all storeroom locations clean and organized- Prep repairs for shipmentWorking hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMSkills:- Ability to use a computer- Typing skills- Very knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel- Detail oriented- Willing to work with their hands- Readable penmanship- Knowledgeable about mechanical items to know what equipment is.- Works well with othersEducation:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:HS Diploma or equivalent APPLY TODAY - 2 positions availableSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
