We are hiring a full-time experienced iPhone Repair Technician. This individual is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and quality repair of all Apple iPhones; including testing, certification, troubleshooting, cleaning, assembly, and appropriate documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and troubleshoot defective iPhone equipment and customer repairs.
- Test and troubleshoot defective iPhone cell phones.
- Document all work conducted in accordance with the department policies
- Research all parts replaced for cost, availability, and lead time
- Coordinate repair efforts with the Lab Department as needed
- Work in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
- Should have a good understanding of electronic theory and possess good troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with DMM is required, and the use of other measuring devices is a plus.
- Previous experience using and troubleshooting cell phones is required.
- Micro soldering experience required
- Light to moderate mechanical experience using hand tools and some power equipment.
- Should have good oral and written communication skills.
- Tech must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to resolve difficult problems with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Demonstrated experience with surface-mount soldering equipment.
- Provide assistance, instruction and guidance to other cell technicians as required.
- Knowledge of cell phone systems such as GSM, EDGE, CDMA or WDMA a plus.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and inventory control software is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish a plus.

Qualifications:
- Must have unimpaired hearing and be able to communicate orally.
- Ability to distinguish between colors, lift/carry 60 pounds, and must be able to kneel, stoop, crouch, or work in other uncomfortable positions to accomplish tasks.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination and be able to work with hand tools.
