One of our longest standing clients is seeking to add a few members to their IT/Help desk support team. They are an international lab company that produces artificial insemination products for famers and other agricultural clients across the globe. These roles will be primarily based out of their DeForest location, but will be expected to travel intermittently throughout North America, including Canada. The primary focus of the role will be supporting hardware & software issues onsite for their internal staff in the office and in lab locations.
Some specific duties will include;
- Directly respond to Hardware, Software, Printer, and Remote Connection problems submitted via e-mail, phone, and in person by the IT User community.
- Log and maintain accurate description of activities and problem solutions using the helpdesk call tracking software (Cherwell).
- Support requests for video, teleconference, mobile phone, unified communication and telephone PBX assistance.
- Set up, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot Desktop and Laptop computers running various MS Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Create support procedures, technical reports and update existing support documentation.
- Provide user access administration for all network applications using both on-prem Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and other application administration tools.
- Additional duties as directed
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree, certifications related to IS or demonstrated prior work experience in a front facing customer service role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PC software and hardware installation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting. Dell, or comparable manufacturer, hardware repair experience is essential.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize within an intensive multi-tasking, multi-cultural environment.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of MS applications, basic Local and Wide Area networking, Cisco VPN, and Citrix remote access.
- Familiarity with Active Directory (both on-prem and Azure), maintaining and updating user, computer, and groups.
- Active passport or ability to acquire passport
