The Janitor is responsible for sweeping, moping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, bathrooms, locker room and office space. Emptying trash and garbage containers. Assists with other related maintenance activities under the supervision of immediate supervisor. Replaces air conditioner filters when directed. Informs supervisor of complaints about misuse of company property (misconduct), or abuse of company property. Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Cleans debris from all door entrances for safe passage.

Working hours: 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

-Language skills - Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions
-Math skills - Ability to add/subtract two digit numbers
-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
-Regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and also to reach with hands and arms.
-Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
-While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED; or one tow three months related experience and/or training.
-Background and drug screens are required for all qualified candidates who are made a conditional offer.
-Steel Toed Boots are required, and candidates are required to provide their own.
