Job Description:
Join the team that keeps Penn state running smoothly! We're looking for a dedicated Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Dispose of trash, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
- Assist with minor maintenance task and report larger maintenance need.
- Follow safety procedures and handle cleaning chemicals properly.
Education: High School
Skills:
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical task as needed
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience is a plus but not required
