This part-time, remote role involves working closely with alumni and local employers, using your networking and communication skills to create pathways to employment. You'll conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and match them with the best job opportunities. Your work will ensure that our graduates transition smoothly into their professional lives.
Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4 PM - 8 PM
Location: Remote
Pay: $16/hr
Responsibilities:
Engage with Alumni: Conduct interviews and evaluations to understand alumni qualifications, interests, and career aspirations. Your goal is to match them with the best job or internship opportunities within the medical administrative sector.
Network with Employers: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare businesses, medical offices, and industry partners. Act as the liaison, promoting the value of our client's well-trained alumni.
Matchmaking: Align job opportunities with the right candidates, ensuring both the alumni and employers? needs are met.
Develop Partnerships: Use creative communication strategies, including cold calling, to establish and grow partnerships with medical facilities and other relevant businesses, staying informed on industry trends.
Promote the College: Actively promote the medical administrative programs, emphasizing the benefits of hiring your graduates who are well-prepared for the demands of the healthcare industry.
Track Success: Maintain accurate job placement records, assist alumni with job search tools, and provide ongoing support to ensure their success in the workplace.
Facilitate Virtual Workshops: Host virtual job placement workshops on Mondays and Wednesdays, guiding candidates through resume preparation, mock interviews, and interview strategies.
Achieve Placement Targets: Ensure the placement of at least eight Administrative Medical Assistant graduates per month in their field or a related area.
Working hours: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Medical administration/billing is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in staffing and/or HR.
Skills: Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Equipment: Must be able to provide your own equipment, including a computer, camera, headset, and reliable internet connection.
