ccuracy and compliance with standards. You'll be responsible for applying professional-level techniques and procedures, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in your assignments. Strong customer service skills, the ability to follow directions, and self-motivation are essential for success in this role, as is a desire to learn and grow in IT desktop support.
Responsibilities:
Install desktops, portable computers, peripherals, and software products in various environments (classified, unclassified, standalone).
Detect, diagnose, and resolve desktop and portable computer software and hardware failures.
Provide guidance and instruction on the use of hardware and software to users.
Analyze customer service requests and provide technical solutions promptly.
Conduct IT audits in compliance with relevant policies.
Prepare and submit progress/status reports to team leads as required.
Utilize trouble-ticketing software for managing IT support tickets.
Identify and document areas for process improvements.
Communicate effectively with users via telephone, electronic communications, or in person.
Prepare equipment for reuse or disposal as per surplus actions.
Provide technical support for customers in remote locations.
Perform software and hardware upgrades and installations across multiple devices.
Assist with the disassembly and reinstallation of IT equipment during office relocations or new site setups.
Physically assist with lifting and moving IT equipment.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
IT Certifications applicable to desktop and mobile computer support.
Experience in delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications:
ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
High school diploma.
Minimum of one year of experience working with IT equipment.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving walking, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, and pushing/pulling carts with equipment.
