To manage the incoming raw material and inventory. To fill kit requests from the knitting floor. To perform inventory cycle counts for both open and closed box inventory. To return unused yarns to the correct inventory locations. To perform simple BOM audits as needed.Responsibilities:Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.Must be able to certify to operate a fork truck and complete daily inspections.Must be comfortable operating computer equipment i.e. laptops, tablets, scan guns, Must be detailed orientated in all aspects of the job.a.Verifying raw materials match the Bill of Lading.b.Document any damaged products that are received on the BOL and report damage to the Supervisor.c.Work closely with the Incoming Materials Auditor to ensure that all raw materials are verified against the packing list and correctly labeled.d.Accurately make all inventory transactions to receive deliveries against the PO# and be able to identify and report any problems associated with this process.e.Accurately transfer all received yarns from the receiving dock to inventory locations.f.Accurately fulfill all kit request for yarns from the production floor.g.Accurately return all unused yarns to the correct inventory locations when returned by the production floor.Must be able to work with management to identify and resolve any problems associated with inventory control.Must communicate accurately and on a regular basis with the Shift Supervisors, Incoming Materials Auditor and Purchasing Manager. Accurately complete daily work tickets, production forms and all other required paperwork in a timely manner.Monitor own break times, begin work and return from breaks on time.Clean work area at the end of the shift.Participate in five minute exercise program twice daily.Prompt and regular attendance is required.Other duties as assigned. i.e. Operating the twisting and backwinding machinesWorking hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PMSkills:Able to operate Fork trucksAble to use Box Cutter, Nippers/scissors, Wheeled carts-Must possess sufficient manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination and general stamina.Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:Must wear approved hearing protection (i.e. ear plugs) in areas where required.Must wear long hair pulled back.Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:1)Education:Must be able to read and write legibly.Must be able to add and subtract (including fractions) without using a calculator.2)Experience:None required.
