- Daily sampling and testing of in-process and finished product, including, but not limited to: Alcohol by Volume, Apparent Extract, Bitterness, Can Seam Analysis, Carbonation, Color, Diacetyl by Gas Chromatography, Microbial Analysis by qPCR, Microbial Analysis by Spread Plate, Pour Plate, Membrane Filtration, etc., Oxygen Content, Package Integrity, pH, Sensory Analysis, Total Acidity, Yeast Counts and Viability- Documenting test results, confirming that results meet specifications defined by client and legal requirements, and implementing product holds as necessary- Working with production, liquid processing, and warehouse to ensure finished product meets all quality and food safety requirements- Organizing, transcribing, trending, interpreting, and summarizing analytical data for historical reference, sharing with internal stakeholders, and uploading to client shared drives- Communicating results with brewing, cellaring, batching, and packaging team members to ensure all departments are running smoothly- Cleaning, calibrating and providing maintenance of various testing equipment- Creating and editing new and existing standard operating procedures- Working with the Quality Manager and other department heads to guarantee that client needs and expectations are met- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Including regular inventorying of consumables, reagents, media, and other materials- Performing other related duties as assigned
