The Legal Assistant will do a variety of tasks to support lawyers, including maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents and supporting legal staff by managing the day-to-day operations and clerical duties of this law office.

The ideal candidate is a high performer focused on client service who can multi-task and manage conflicting priorities while working within deadlines. This professional must have excellent communication skills and the ability to proactively anticipate and identify attorney and project needs. This role also plays an integral part in practice development and client relationship management activities.
Direct Hire Opportunity
Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
Pay $35-45k/year DOE
Responsibilities:
-Assist attorneys in preparation of engagement letters, conflict searches, annual audit letters, monthly invoices, and bi-weekly costs
-Administrative support as needed to the legal administrative assistants (LAAs) and the attorneys
-Provide occasional backup for the receptionist
-Make deliveries and running errands
-Assist with moving up to 50 lbs as needed
-Assis with computer equipment and office moves
-Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
