We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the law office team of one of our clients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing administrative support, ensuring the efficient operation of the legal department while contributing to our commitment to exceptional legal services.

- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist attorneys in preparation for litigation processes.
- File legal documents with courts and relevant agencies.
- Draft legal correspondence and pleadings as required.
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems.
- Efficiently utilize document management systems.
- Perform clerical tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
- Familiarity with legal research tools and resources.
- Experience with case management software.
- Previous experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a legal environment; knowledge of probate, wills, and real estate is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence in legal drafting and proofreading.
