- Uses customer service principles and techniques to deal with patients calmly and pleasantly- Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions;- Communicates with other team members in the clinical and clerical area to provide a successful patient centered practice;- Reviews labs and other testing results for Provider based on protocols- Performs Nursing assessments and documents including interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, and test results- Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies;
- High school diploma. - Graduation from an approved practical nursing program. - Must have valid LPN license.- Must possess a current CPR/BLS or ACLS certification and current health records with the appropriate immunizations or proof of immunity to work in the health care field (hepatitis B and tuberculosis).- Clinical experience preferred but not required; IV therapy certification preferred but not required.
