Responsibilities:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide essential nursing care and support in a cardiologist office. The LVN will assist with patient assessments, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education under the supervision of a registered nurse or cardiologist. This role demands strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and documenting symptoms.
- Assist in preparing patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the cardiologist.
- Perform EKGs, stress tests, and other cardiac diagnostic procedures.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical tasks as needed.
- Assist the cardiologist during examinations and medical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and sterile.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.
- Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals to other healthcare providers.
- Handle phone inquiries from patients and provide relevant information regarding their care and appointments.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication administration, and lifestyle changes to manage cardiac conditions.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
??? Current and valid LVN license.
??? CPR/BLS certification.
??? Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
??? Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
??? Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.

??? Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
