Spherion is assisting our client, an industry leader in medical device manufacturing, in their search for a Light Assembler. In this role, you will assemble, test, and install lights, batteries, and accessories.
Much of your work will involve small parts so excellent attention to detail is required.

- 1st shift schedule: Monday- Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools, screwdrivers, soldering irons, curing wands, and pliers to assemble, test, and install devices (batteries, headlights, and loupes)
- Read and understand production documentation
- Understand and build to quality metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluency in English
- Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to be flexible with your schedule and work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed
- Skill in soldering and experience using hand tools preferred
