The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services throughout our supply chain. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Your ability to multitask, problem-solve, and communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers will be essential to succeed in this role.
Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, both inbound and outbound, to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
Track shipments and provide real-time updates to internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management and maintain optimum stock levels.
Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Resolve any transportation issues or discrepancies that may arise, such as delays, damages, or billing errors.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, such as shipping records, bills of lading, and customs documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies and initiatives to optimize costs and improve customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Proficient in using logistics management software and MS Office suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
High school Diploma or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven experience of 2 years in logistics coordination or a similar role within the industry.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, logistics operations, and transportation regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
