Spherion is partnering with a power house company in the Logistics Industry to hire a Logistics Dispatcher in the Odessa, FL area. The ideal Logistics Dispatcher candidate would possess the ability to type a minimum of 25+ WPM, communicate clearly and effectively over the phone, in writing and in-person and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This position does require weekend availability! As a Logistics Dispatcher you would be responsible for directly supporting transport crews in facilitating on-time, safe, and high-quality delivery and logistics services to various clients.
**These positions are set schedules and most shifts do require working the weekends, so the perfect candidate will be comfortable working on weekends.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers and business partners via softphone, telephone and email
- Handle customer complaints in a calm, professional manner
- Diagnose, assess and resolve problems or issues
- Monitor progress of delivery routes
- Scan haul-away pods and verify stamps
- Process changes or cancellations to delivery orders
- Additional duties as requested
- Dispatching for our drivers
- Client billing and data entry tasks
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
SKILLS (PREFERRED)
- Maintain phone communication between external customers and contracted drivers/couriers
- Assist contracted drivers with delivery issues
- Resolve any customer issues, complaints and answer questions
- Monitoring progress of delivery routes
- Client billing and data entry tasks
- Assign drivers/couriers delivery routes
- Oversee all unloading processes of returning routes at days end
- Additional duties as requested
- Assisting with dispatch on occasion.
- Next day route planning and scheduling
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
SKILLS (REQUIRED):
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in a call center environment
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve issues
- Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations
