Our client is looking for manufacturing employees interested in learning to run their machines; these are full-time temp-to-hire positions with availability on both the day and night shift. Pay is dependent on experience. Not only that -- in this position, you work work 1/3 less days in a year! Sounds awesome, yes? As a machine operator, you will be responsible for working safely and efficiently to set up, operate, troubleshoot and maintain all machinery on the production floor while ensuring all finished product meets food safety and quality requirements.

The DAY shift will be working 6:00AM-6:00PM. This shift will be working on a rotating basis and therefore will not be on the same days every week and will required you to work every other weekend.
The NIGHT shift will be working 6:00PM-6:00AM. This shift will be working on a rotating basis and therefore will not be on the same days every week and will required you to work every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Pre-inspect work station(s) to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
Maintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environment.
Follow LOTO procedures.
Perform hourly checks, consistently and timely.
Verify lot and sell by codes on bags and labels for accuracy.
Maintain and demonstrate a thorough understanding of processing specifications for varying products and materials.
Match material item numbers and lot codes to corresponding product accurately.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of electronic inventory tracking system (SAP).
Order and receive materials.
Perform pre/post sanitation tasks to clean and sanitize all production equipment as necessary.
Effectively and safely operate, perform preventative maintenance, and perform corrective maintenance
Control, maintain and repair equipment throughout the plant.
Assist with maintenance related improvement projects as needed.
Complete proper paperwork for maintenance work orders.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Mechatronics Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A background in food manufacturing or general manufacturing is preferred.
