Spherion is hiring for Machine Operator - Packaging in Franklin, IN.
Shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule - will work every other weekend.
Pay is $19 for Day Shift and $20/HR for Nights.
Summary:
Performs repetitive production and packing operations to mass process products such as plastic bottles.

Responsibilities:
Employee works from a production schedule located within the work area.
Randomly checks product produced every hour, to ensure customer specifications are met.
Monitors flow of product into processing machinery
Tends machines, such as palletizers, case packers, injection machines and box machine to maintain product flow.
Works at different work stations as production needs require.
Works on lines where tasks vary, as product of various shapes and sizes move along lines.
Check finished product for possible defects.
Wears all required PPE
Must attend monthly shift meetings 6 am for day or 6pm for night shift
Any other tasks may be assigned

Skills:
Language Skills - Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable works and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
