machine operator / warehouse floater.

This position is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining various production machines. This includes injection molding presses and metal stamping machines as well as some other smaller machines. Inspect parts produced and monitor parts for problems. Will also assist as a warehouse floater moving and putting inventory away, label products, gathering raw supplies for production,, material handling, assist with picking products for shipping.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Complete set-up of plastic injection molding machines
Operate Injection Molding presses in a safe, efficient manor
Perform routine mold changes in accordance to setup procedures
Maintain quality standards in the injection process
Ability to detect and diagnose defects of product
Maximize production by keeping the molding machines running and assisting other employees in all areas of molding
Monitor quality of product
Clean, maintain, and organize the production and work areas
Assist as a warehouse floater moving and putting inventory away, label products, gathering raw supplies for production, material handling, and picking products for shipping.

Working hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Knowledge of occupational hazards and accident prevention methods in assigned area(s) of responsibility, with thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and standard practices in operation of a warehouse.
Previous experience with material handling and general warehouse work.

Must have previous machine operation experience in a Production/ Manufacturing environment
Must have previous experience with material handling and general warehouse work.
High school diploma or equivalent
Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude
Must have excellent attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
