The Machine Shop Foreman is responsible for the scheduling of CNC and Lathe Machine Centers, as well as managing employees for safety, quality, and production expectations.

Communicate with the Production Coordinator to ensure that machine centers are scheduled according to priorities, due dates, and run times.

Hold toolbox talks to discuss safety topics/communications with the team.
Ensure that shop floor team members are working safely throughout the day.
Manage attendance of team members that fall within the designated area of responsibility.
Promote excellent housekeeping expectations throughout the shop.
Work to develop the team throughout cross training efforts.
Provide feedback and status updates in weekly management meetings.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will be attentive to details and possess excellent communication and coaching skills.
Education:
High School
Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
Five years of experience working with CNC and Lathe Machine Centers
Two years of experience in a production supervisory role
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy skills (preferably MS Office)
