It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Worker to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues for various manufacturing machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors the preventative and corrective maintenance needs of various equipment types
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

- Completes all work orders including preventive maintenance work
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
- Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
- Repairs and replaces wiring, equipment and fixtures using various hand and power tools
- Performs troubleshooting on down equipment and maximize run time
- Communicates with the Maintenance Team Members, Maintenance Supervisor and/or Corporate Engineer to troubleshoot more complex issues and make recommendations for improvement
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) policies and maintain superior plant cleanliness
- Adheres to all safety practices including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follows all established company policies and practices
