We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic, whose primarily roll will be concerning the repair, modification, and development assistance on tasks assigned and will perform other Maintenance functions as directed by the Maintenance Manager Engineer. Responsibilities:
* Complete assigned daily checklist. (1st priority).
* Complete all work orders assigned in a timely manner and inform manager of any problems or delays.
* Troubles shoot mechanical/electrical problems with equipment.
* Assist on other type work orders as directed by the manager.
* Work as instructed by maintenance manager engineer to assist production in meeting their production standards and requirements.
* Assist on preventive maintenance plant wide as directed by the manager.
* Always ensure that equipment is operating correctly once the job is complete.
* Assist with continuous improvement efforts as directed by manager.
* Assist in other maintenance repairs.
* Turn all required reports in on time.
* Adhere to safety, EEOC and OSHA policies
* Maintain clean work area
* Ensure quality of material and work is to standards.
* Initiate Corrective and Preventive Action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, processes and/or the system.
* Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, processes and/or the quality system.
* Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
* Verify the implementation of solutions.
* Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
* Identify all required parts needed for repair & work orders by part number.
* Sign out and account all parts removed from inventory
* Clean and sweep shop area daily.
* Clean all tools and put back in proper location.
* After a task, clean up work area in plant when the task is complete. The task is not complete until the work area is cleaned up.
* Dispose of old parts in compliance with disposal practices. Hazardous items must be disposed of in compliance with the law (see the Safety Manager for more information).
* Keep equipment operational at all times.
* Ensure Minimum down time.
* Complete all work orders assigned 100%.
* Ensure quality of workmanship and in the operation of all machinery.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Qualifications:
* Must be able to read and comprehend our manuals and safety systems.
* Must be detail oriented and well organized.
* Must have electrical, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge.
* Must have vast electro-mechanical experience.
* Must be self-motivated.
* Must be able to change from one task to another frequently.
* Comply with all plant and safety programs, rules, and company policies.
* Must be committed to LP-9000 and continuous improvement.
* Must be able to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
* Must be able use a computer to access electronic Library.
* Must be able to use our CMMS Advance Maintenance Management System, AMMS, to report downtime, withdraw parts from inventory, and to request spare parts.
