Responsibilities:
The level of the position will be determined based on your experience and skill set. The Maintenance Mechanic, at a Senior or Master Level, is a vital member of the maintenance team responsible for the efficient operation and upkeep of machinery, equipment, processes, and buildings in a manufacturing environment. With a strong focus on safety, urgency, and adherence to established safety protocols, this role involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for both mechanical and electrical systems. Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), the Maintenance Mechanic tracks work history, manages parts usage, and ensures timely, effective maintenance activities. This proactive position supports continuous manufacturing operations by identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Working hours:  This position has a rotating shift with two shifts available, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Skills:
Knowledge of the plastics industry, with a focus on extrusion and thermoforming processes and equipment
Basic welding skills

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant field
Manufacturing experience
Powered Industrial Truck Certification and Lockout/Tagout Certification are a plus
