JOB HIGHLIGHTS AND TRAINING:
*Will train for 90-Days on 1st Shift
*2nd and 3rd Shift Opportunities are available from 2:45 to 11pm (or) 10:45 to 7pm with some Saturdays
*During training, you will be paid at your 2nd or 3rd Shift rate when an offer has been made and accepted
*Base rate ranges are from $25.44 to $34.62 based on experience and skill levels. There are 4 Tiers.
*You must have your own tools. The company offers the use of their carts and other tools if needed.
*Schedules are Monday thru Friday at the scheduled shift time/s. On Friday's, you may work an additional 1.5 to 2-hours to perform sanitation tear-downs with the rest of the Maintenance team. On Saturdays, you normally do not work more than 5-hours. The whole facility is closed on Sundays. Notice to work Saturdays is normally announced at week startup of the same week.
*You can test once a year to earn more money based on the results. This test is offered once a year.
*You have a choice of three (3) individual and family medical/health platforms
*You can earn PTO for demonstrating perfect attendance. Getting "extra" paid days off for paid wages!
*Just in case - You can earn back attendance points "if" you need to use them after a pre-determined time has passed.

Maintenance Mechanics at this location are hands-on and requested as needed to repair and ensure that all production machinery is running effectively. Many of the machines do not require constant mechanical maintenance. Some require close monitoring while making adjustments, and others may require changing gears, sprockets, performing electrical work and other parts to ensure the machines continue to operate efficiently and safely. There is very little fabrication that needs to be performed. And, in many cases, certain jobs are sent out to 3rd party to fabricate and repair. During the course of the shift/s, you can expect to perform preventative maintenance as scheduled, train other team members on equipment operation. You are also responsible for informing all floor personnel concerning Food Quality concerns (or) any non-compliant processes that do not meet specified requirements. Clerical duties will include completing purchase requisitions as needed for parts, equipment and tools while operating computer software.
Working hours: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
*Communicate well with all management and floor personnel
*The ability to Troubleshoot
*Ability to complete tasks independently
*Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge and understanding
*Possess the ability to read and understand all Maintenance manuals, codes and regulations. Possess basic math skills.
*Possess the ability to use and operate all tools and machinery required to complete all maintenance responsibilities during the course of the shift.
Physical requirements will include using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves per company policies and safe work procedures. Other requirements include:
*Working with cutting & machining fluids, solvents and other hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety controls.
*Lifting up to 50lbs
* Will frequently carry, bend, stand, sit and perform repetitive tasks.
