Maintenance Supervisor will troubleshoot and repair any piece of machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for employees to use. They also regularly visit the facilities they've previously worked on and inspect them to see if there are any clear problems that need to be fixed. Additionally, Maintenance Supervisor must approve all installation and repair activities completed by anyone on their maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
Respond to routine maintenance calls in each department as needed.
Install electrical lights, outlets, fixtures and wiring for all industrial operational purposes.
Install and repair all computer cable for new and existing terminals.
Design and construct equipment and accessories by welding, braising, grinding, or using a torch, etc. conduct and perform timely repairs to Merrow industrial seaming machines; Braun and Washex washing machines, Milnor, Rome, and Smith dye machines: Chisel gas dryers, extracting machines; Intech and Heliot boarding machines; Raymond and Icon forklifts; Toledo Scales, and any other new or existing equipment repaired for production needs.
Recognize and respond to maintenance emergencies, document observations, interventions, and outcomes.
Maintain confidential records and other information relating to employees and the facility.
Perform assigned tasks in accordance with facility policies and procedures as instructed by the Plant Superintendent.
Manage maintenance team and implement policies
Recognize and respond to the safety and physical plant maintenance needs of the facility (security issues).
Establish and encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and interest in workers activity preferences and needs.
Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
Ensure operational efficiency of equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair
Ensure company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition
Implement workplace safety policies and standards???including compliance with PPE of designated areas performing work in.
Effectively manage time to perform the essential functions of the job in a manner that benefits employees of the facility and complies with business needs as directed by Plant Manager.

Bachelors Degree in engineering, administration, or facility management OR relatable experience considered
Maintenance, mechanical, and electrical experience

Salaried position: $68,000-$78,000/year, based on experience
Shift: 6:30am-4:30pm, with occasional need to work earlier or later as needed
