Our client is a fast paced manufacturer seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech II to join their Leesburg team. This position will assist with the ongoing proactive service, repairs, troubleshooting and overhauls to production related equipment and processing systems in a manner that ensures safety, reliability and housekeeping standards are met. This is a direct hire opportunity that offers hourly compensation and benefits package.Responsibilities:- Assists in executing complex repairs and major overhauls to system components, and associated equipment, utilizing original equipment manufacturers recommendations and specifications - Takes direction and guidance from Tech III on assigned shift.- Performs the required maintenance to ensure the facility and equipment are operating correctly.- Performs all maintenance activities in a safe, clean and efficient manner.- Replace and repair parts, rebuild equipment, align gears, shafts, pulleys and belts.- Utilizes illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment.- Responds to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner. - Performs preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan.Working hours: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PMSkills:- Dependability and ability to adapt to change are essential. - Basic Computer skillsEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- 3+ year related experience - Mechanical or electrical experience- Prior electro-mechanical experience a plus-- Ability to operate powered lift equipment (forklift, wave picker, hoists, etc.).
