Responsibilities:
-Work with Controls and Manufacturing Engineers to develop equipment and controls for new products, and improve equipment
-Work with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment, reduce equipment downtime, and execute plant equipment
-Work with equipment vendors and external contractors to install new equipment or upgrade existing equipment
-Maintain programs, including PLCs, vision, robot, etc.
-Interact effectively with different levels of leadership, working in teams to achieve a common goal
-Work with design procedures of ISO and Quality Systems
-Assure adherence to standard manufacturing practices-Adhere to quality, control, and EHS policies
-Identify and and close safety issues and their corrective actions
-Preserve current equipment to a functioning level
-Possible on call timeframes

Skills:
-Courses in Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Electrical/Computer Science Technology or Machining
-PLC Troubleshooting
-Experience using PLCs including some or all of the following: RSLogix 500 and 5000, Siemens, Ladder Logic

High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
-Experience troubleshooting or programming CNC equipment
-Experience with machine vision programming
-Experience troubleshooting and programming robots
--High School Diploma or GED
-3+ years of experience
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
-1 year of experience working with automated machinery in a manufacturing setting
