Responsibilities:
Ability to troubleshoot and re-wire high speed equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, PLC I/O modules and servo motors.
Ability to perform mechanical work, valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, lubrication systems.
Ability to work off shifts and overtime as necessary.
Practice safe working habits, ability to follow directions, and work with minimal supervision.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Experience in the food industry.
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures is required (e.g. lock out / tag out, high voltage electrical)Experience in the food industry.
Experience with boiler systems and ammonia refrigeration.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
3 years? experience in an industrial maintenance related field.
Working knowledge of and the ability to use hand and power tools.
Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, belt systems, motors, pumps, and other industrial machine components
Must possess the skills/knowledge of an Industrial Electrician to read and comprehend electrical schematics to install, troubleshoot, conduct preventative maintenance and perform repairs to facilities and production equipment to 480 Volts, 3-Phase.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
