Management position for the food service division of an international food and beverage manufacturer in Fresno, California. This position is responsible for efficiency, quality, safety and morale according to company policies, procedures and guidelines.Responsibilities:-Promote a positive and constructive manner to maintain a professional relationship, demonstrating courtesy, discretion, friendliness and diplomacy. -Manage and supervise daily warehouse operations and 70-90 warehouse associates. -Use effective inventory control practices to maintain accurate inventory, replenishment, rotation and proper slotting of inbound inventory, while ensuring accurate product selection, receiving and loading operations.-Counsel, advise, and instruct warehouse employees in related policies, procedures, safety and productivity while promoting team spirit and everyone?s opportunity to succeed.-Strictly enforce and heighten awareness of company safety policies to ensure safe operations.-Ability to adapt in work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events while meeting or exceeding key performance indicators.-Ensure Human Resources programs, employee performance evaluations, job training and disciplinary action are implemented and operated in accordance with company policies and state and federal laws.-Control expense through efficient utilization of labor, supplies, materials equipment and company resources.-Recommend improvements to distribution and logistics systems, programs and activities.-Provide progress and performance reports to Warehouse Director.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:- Must have effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving ability. - Basic understanding of industrial equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) - Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.- WMS knowledge and understanding, DAX preferred.Education:BachelorsExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:Bachelors Degree preferred5-10 years experience in warehousing and material handling.Minimum 5 years Management distribution experience.
