Responsibilities:
Safety focus, all day, everyday
People leadership, ensure resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards
Delegate and lead change
Manage work order travelers and assure closure
Ensure the team is aware of their day-to-day targets and responsibilities
Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
Lead, Drive and Sustain continuous improvement activities within the team
Lead Cross Training initiatives and maintain the Cross Training Matrix for each employee
Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times
Ensure all records are completed accurately (time cards, inventory cards, annual performance reviews, operator pm etc.) and completed timely as required
Ensure production area ISO requirements are current, including non-conformance and corrective actions
Assure consumable supplies are appropriately stocked, while leading cost controls
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
Support, comply with the Company Handbook, align/enforce Company policies and procedures.
Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting the annual budget, so that each employee is aware of expectations and deliverables
Engage Management of ideas to improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities, up to and including process and procedure improvements
Foster/Commit to team development
Work independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
