Our aviation client in Pensacola is looking for a few hard working individuals to join their team! They are seeking multiple Material Controllers who will be responsible for the maintenance of inventory with the issuance and receipt of various parts, and supplies, while maintaining appropriate record keeping.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Sunday with a week day off and weekend day off. Hours are 6:30am-4:30pm. And the pay starts at $15.
Perform a wide variety of clerical tasks.
Perform data entry, typing, and filing of all related data.
Process material transactions:
Issue material directly to aircraft job numbers or department accounts.
Transfer material within various store areas. .
Return material to inventory.
Control customer furnished materials.
Process materials to be shipped, received and/or delivered:
Maintain customer lockup.
Package and document materials for shipment.
Process incoming materials for distribution.
Distribute picked material.
Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
Successfully complete any courses deemed necessary for each interdepartmental position (Stores, Tooling, Shipping, and Receiving, etc.) authorized by the department manager and/or Training Department.
Perform any work that may be assigned by his or her supervisor.
Ability to use the company intranet system, as needed. (ie, SQBM???s, PPM, phone list)
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Good knowledge of office procedures and equipment including typewriters, copiers, calculators, fax machines, and microcomputers, ability to prepare routine reports and maintain specialized files and records.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Knowledge of hand tools, equipment, materials
