Spherion Staffing is hiring Material Handlers for our client in Lebanon, IN!Shift:Monday-Thursday - 7:00am-5:30pm/ $15.00/hrThis position is responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and finished products, specifically to the drum and tote line in a safe and efficient manner. This position also acts as a backup filler for drums and totes.Responsibilities:Receives, distributes, and stores materials, supplies and products in designated, secure locations based on work orders.Operates a scanner to record amounts of items distributed.Provides backup to filling of totes and/or drums.Includes making proper tank connections prior to filling and all proper line clean outs following filling operation, correctly setting proper weights on filler, and ensuring that containers are properly filled, labeled, coded, capped, and palletized in accordance with written packaging instructions or as directed by the supervisor.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PMSkills:Operates warehouse equipment including forklift in a safe manner.Maintains a clean and safe work environment and wears the proper safety equipment.Performs other related duties as required.Education:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Required to wear steel-toed, waterproof and oil/slip resistant boots.Standing for extended periodsBasic math and recording abilitiesAttention to detailCan read, write, and speak EnglishMust be able to work a compressed workweek schedule (Monday-Thursday 7:00 am ? 5:30 pm).Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and evenings on as needed basis is required.
