The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products within a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating equipment, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that materials are available for production processes. Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, parts, and finished products. Ensure that materials are properly labeled, organized, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and perform regular inventory counts. Report discrepancies and assist in reconciling inventory records. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory logs.
1st and 2nd shift available. M-F 7a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 2p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Production Support: Supply production lines with necessary materials in a timely manner to avoid downtime. Communicate with production teams to address material needs and resolve any issues.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials handled, including quantities, locations, and movements. Complete required documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory purposes.
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure that storage areas are kept in order and comply with safety regulations.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
