Spherion Staffing is hiring a Material Handler to work in Indianapolis, IN.Shift and Pay:Monday - Friday 7AM-3:30PM $13.50/HRBenefits:- Weekly payroll- A family culture and atmosphere- Possibility of direct hire after a certain time with life insurance and health insurance benefits as well as paid time off on holidays (after direct hiring)Responsibilities:- Safely and accurately packs, picks, loads, moves, stacks and unloads orders - Operate manual equipment to move products to different working areas- Efficiently picking orders and assembling product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and product ordered is packed and shipped free of damage. - Performing other duties as assigned by management and as needed.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMSkills:- Ability to read and effectively communicate in English, count accurately, perform simple math, write legibly and follow directions. - Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision. - Must have no adverse hearing loss that cannot be corrected with hearing aids.- Ability to tolerate exposure to modest amounts of heat, cold, dust, noise, and vibrations.- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift 50 lbs consistently, 100-150 lbs occasionally. - Ability to maintain a high level of frequency & intensity in other physical activities including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling & crouching.Education:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:- High School Diploma or GED required- Experience in a warehouse facility preferred- Understands weight measures Apply Today!
