We are looking for a Material Handler to join the team of our electronic design and manufacturing solutions client. As a Material Handler, you will perform material kit pulls and conduct shipping activities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and fulfillment of orders.

Responsibilities:

- Collect designated material requirements per kitting schedule and issue kits in an efficient and accurate manner
- Perform and record inventory cycle counts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory stock room that complies with defined standards and policies
- Handle and return product and materials per NCM policies and procedures
- Process customer and supplier material return authorizations (RMAs) in collaboration with the Supply Chain and Quality departments
- Prepare/package shipments with required certification paperwork and perform outgoing shipment activities in accordance with established procedures, policies, and industry regulations
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and labeling with appropriate shipping information and complete required paperwork
- Contact carriers to schedule timely pick-ups
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles including lifting and stocking material
- Perform and coordinate scheduled material shipments
- Promptly communicate delivery exceptions to pertinent functional personnel
- Order and maintain shipping supplies
- Keep accurate records according to defined manufacturer specifications, industry regulations, and company standards
- Adhere to the company’s ISO Quality Management System, established company policies and procedures, and ensure all material is packaged/maintained to meet standards
- Adhere to personal protective equipment guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent degree required, associate degree in an electronics-related field preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Inventory Management Software, Job Management Software, supplier/UPS Wordship, and/or electronic components/equipment desired
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs
- Visual acuity for quality inspections
