Spherion of NJ is seeking a Service Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity. The Service Mechanic will be using a wide range of hand tools and equipment. The Service Mechanic will also maintain and repair hydraulic components on heavy equipment.

The client is willing to train applicants who have good work ethics and attitude
Maintain and repair hydraulic systems on heavy equipment
Hydraulic and high-pressure water system repairs
Read schematics, while diagnosing problems
Perform welding, metal fabrication and electrical trouble-shooting
Reassemble machines and equipment
Occasional road work
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
A high school diploma or equivalent
Chassis and/or diesel engine experience a must
AAS highly recommended; must have basic mechanical and electrical skills
Must have valid driver's license; CDL license is a plus but not required upon start
Basic mechanical and electrical skills are required
