This position is responsible for managing the design, planning, execution and timely completion of assigned engineering projects. The incumbent shall oversee module sub-system and associated component design and development, compliance to customer specifications and management of project plans, product qualification, technical documents, supplier liaison and related production support. The product line encompasses aircraft hydraulic system manifolds, valves (pressure relief, bypass, shut-off, spool and sleeve), filter elements, indicators and pressure sensors.The position requires excellent engineering skills in aerospace hydraulic device design, materials and processes, and the excellent ability to successfully lead a functional group of engineers and cross-functional teams. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited collegeMaster of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.A Bachelor of Arts in Business or an MBA is a plus.10 years minimum experience in aerospace hydraulic device design & development, with a solid and proven track record is required.3 years minimum in direct supervision of engineers and technical staff is required.2 years minimum in use of solid modeling software, such as Solidworks or CREO is highly desirable.The ability to remain effective and maintain emotional balance, control and focus in stressful situations.Additional related experience is a plus.
